Flying Car, no more a fiction rather a reality

Flying cars in science fiction movies have always been fascinating people across the world. However, now it is no longer a fiction rather a reality.

AirCar, a dual-mode car-aircraft by Klein Vision, a Slovakian company, has received official approval and Certificate of Airworthiness by the Slovak Transport Authority. The car is capable of hitting speeds over 100mph (160kmh) and altitudes above 8,000ft (2,500m).

It takes two minutes and 15 seconds to transform from car into aircraft. It is equipped with a BMW engine and runs on regular petrol-pump fuel.

The future car has been designed and developed by Prof Stefan Klein. AirCar has been under development since 2017 and now it is in its final stage.

Prof Stefan has devoted twenty years of his life to make flying cars a reality. “AirCar certification opens the door for mass production of very efficient flying cars. It is official and the final confirmation of our ability to change mid-distance travel forever,” said its inventor, Prof Stefan Klein.

The Aircar got approval after it has undergone 70 hours of rigorous flight testing based on the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Standards and has completed over 200 takeoffs and landings while flying cross-country.

Now, the company is planning to fly the car from London to Paris.
