
Bhubaneswar: The Indian Navy is set to hold the Passing Out Parade (POP) for the fifth batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka on March 7, 2025. This marks the successful completion of training for approximately 2,972 Agniveers, including women Agniveers, who have undergone rigorous training at the premier naval training establishment.
Vice Admiral V. Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, will be the Chief Guest, presiding over the post-sunset parade in the presence of proud families, high-achieving veterans, and eminent sports personalities, who will inspire the new batch with their remarkable journeys.
During the event, the Chief Guest will also attend the valedictory function, present awards and trophies to outstanding trainees and divisions, and unveil the bilingual trainees’ magazine ‘Ankur’. The ceremony marks the successful completion of 16 weeks of ab-initio naval training, shaping the Agniveers into combat-ready, credible, cohesive, and future-ready personnel of the Indian Navy.
