Cuttack: A floating restaurant has come up in the premises of Silver City Boat Club in Cuttack.
Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) chairperson Shreemayee Mishra inaugurated the restaurant on Sunday where visitors can enjoy a delicious meal in the 4 seater floating restaurant.
Inaugurating the restaurant, Mishra said that the government is focusing on strengthening the tourism infrastructure in all parts of the state. “There is a huge potential for water sports activities and the state government is taking various steps to attract tourists”, she added.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had inaugurated the Silver City Boat Club in April, however, it was closed due to the pandemic. It has been reopened for tourists following the Covid guidelines after the state government allowed it.
With the new edition now tourists can enjoy delicious food floating in the river water.
OTDC managing director and Odisha tourism director Sachin Ramchandra Yadav informed that more floating restaurants would be added in coming days.
