Ekamra Utsav Delights Food Enthusiasts with Tribal Cuisine Extravaganza

Bhubaneswar: The Ekamra Utsav, orchestrated by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), has become the epicenter of culinary delight in Bhubaneswar. Food enthusiasts are thronging to Ama Byanjana, a vibrant part of the festival, where they are treated to a tantalizing array of flavours, especially the unique offerings at the wild food stall featuring tribal cuisine.

The stall is a daily gathering spot, showcasing a diverse menu that takes patrons on a gastronomic journey through tribal culinary delights. From the exquisite combination of kanbora baha with khaseri pakodi (chickpea pakoka) to the enticing kai chutney, the menu is a celebration of rich and authentic flavors.

Quenching thirsts amid these flavorful offerings are Handi Sarbat, Tonka Torani, and refreshing national drinks infused with Orange, Lemon, and Mint.

At the helm of this culinary extravaganza is Master Chef Madhusmita Soren, renowned for crafting the iconic Kai Chutney, which recently earned the prestigious Geographical Indication (GI) tag during her participation in the MasterChef program. The demand for her kai chutney is palpable, with patrons going the extra mile, even bringing their own tins from home to savor its unique and unforgettable taste.

Beyond the tribal culinary highlights, festival-goers are also relishing other popular choices such as red rice khechudi and patra poda.

As the clock strikes 9 in the evening, the stalls witness a flurry of activity, with all the delectable offerings quickly sold out, leaving behind satisfied palates and eager anticipation for the next day’s culinary adventures.
