Rayagada: In light of safety-related modernization work between Tikiri-Singaram-Laxmipur Road Stations in the Rayagada-Koraput Railway section, and at Talcher Road Station for linking Angul-Sukinda Rail Line, the Indian Railways has announced the cancellation, partial cancellation, and diversion of several trains.
Cancellation of Trains:
A. The 18512/18511 Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly Express will remain cancelled from Visakhapatnam on April 29, May 3, and May 6, and from Koraput on April 30, May 4, and May 7, 2024.
B. The 18125/18126 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express will remain cancelled from Rourkela between April 27 to May 2, and from Puri between April 28 to May 3, 2024.
Partial Cancellation of Trains:
A. The 08546/18545 Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Special will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput from both directions from April 28 to May 8, 2024.
B. The 08108/18107 Jagadallpur-Rourkela-Jagadalpur Express will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Jagadalpur from both directions from April 27 to May 7, 2024.
C. The 18005/18006 Howrah-Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Jagadalpur from both directions from April 26 to May 6, 2024.
Diversions:
Several trains bypassing Talcher Station and providing stoppage at Talcher Road Station are as follows:
A. The 08427/08428 Angul Puri-Angul Special from both directions between April 28 to May 2, 2024.
B. The 18425/18426 Puri-Durg-Puri Express from Puri between April 28 to May 2, 2024, and from Durg between April 27 to May 2, 2024.
C. The 18451/18452 Hatia-Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express from both directions between April 28 to May 1, 2024.
D. The 20807/20808 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express from Visakhapatnam on April 30, and from Amritsar on April 27 and 28, 2024.
E. The 20831/20832 Shalimar-Sambalpur-Shalimar Express from Shalimar on April 29 and May 1, and from Sambalpur on April 28, 30, and May 2, 2024.
F. The 20862/20861 Ahmedabad-Puri-Ahmedabad Express from Ahmedabad on April 26, and from Puri on May 1, 2024.
G. The 12146/12145 Puri-LTT-Puri Express from Puri on April 30, and from LTT on April 28, 2024.
