East Coast Railway Implements Train Cancellations and Diversions Due to Heavy Rains

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced a series of train cancellations, partial cancellations, and diversions in the Vijayawada Division due to severe flooding caused by extremely heavy rains. The adverse weather conditions have led to waterlogging on railway tracks at several locations, impacting train services across the region.

Train Cancellations:

  • 20810 Nanded-Sambalpur Express: Cancelled from Nanded on 02.09.2024
  • 18520 LTT-Visakhapatnam Express: Cancelled from LTT on 03.09.2024
  • 20833 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express: Cancelled from Visakhapatnam on 02.09.2024
  • 20834 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Express: Cancelled from Secunderabad on 02.09.2024
  • 20707/20708 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express: Cancelled from both directions on 02.09.2024

Partial Cancellations:

  • 20809 Sambalpur-Nanded Express: Cancelled from Visakhapatnam to Nanded on 01.09.2024

Train Diversions:

  • 20819 Puri-Okha Express: Diversion from Puri on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titilagarh, Raipur, and Nagpur.
  • 20805 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Express: Diversion from Visakhapatnam on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Vizianagaram, Raipur, and Nagpur.
  • 11020 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express: Diversion from Bhubaneswar on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Vijayawada, Guntur, and Secunderabad.
  • 12803 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Express: Diversion from Visakhapatnam on 02.09.2024. The train will now run via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titilagarh, Raipur, and Nagpur.
  • 8520 LTT-Visakhapatnam Express: Diversion from LTT on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Secunderabad, Pagidipalli, and Guntur.
  • 12804 Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express: Diversion from Nizamuddin on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Nagpur, Raipur, Titilagarh, Rayagada, and Vizianagaram.
  • 11019 Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express: Diversion from Mumbai on 01.09.2024. The train will now run via Secunderabad, Pagidipalli, Guntur, and Vijayawada.
