
Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager, Parmeshwar Funkwal, felicitated five railway employees for their exceptional dedication, vigilance, and prompt actions that ensured safe train operations. The felicitation ceremony was held at the ECoR headquarters, Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar, in the presence of the Additional General Manager and senior officials, including the Principal Chief Safety Officer.
The five employees honored for their outstanding service were Chandrageer Kumar Raut, Senior Assistant Loco Pilot, Khurda Road; Upendra Kumar, Senior Goods Train Manager, Titlagarh; Suresh Gagaray, Track Maintainer-IV, Harichandanpur; Sudhansu Shekhar Das, Track Maintainer-II, Gorakhnath; and Kilo Sonu, Track Maintainer-IV, Manavar (Koraput). Their keen alertness and swift response to potential hazards were instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and safety of railway operations.
General Manager Funkwal praised their vigilance and highlighted the critical role that railway personnel play in ensuring passenger safety and operational reliability. He emphasized that the dedication and quick thinking of railway staff are essential in preventing accidents and disruptions, contributing to a secure railway network.
Encouraging all railway employees to remain committed to safety, Funkwal reiterated the importance of constant alertness and diligence in railway operations. He acknowledged that the hard work of railway personnel is the backbone of a safe and efficient transportation system and urged them to continue upholding the highest safety standards in their duties.
