Goa: The concluding day of the International Purple Fest witnessed a historic moment as the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPWD) and the National Human Resources Development Network (NHRDN) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic alliance sets the stage for a collaborative effort to aggregate employment opportunities for Divyangjans through the innovative PM-DAKSH-DEPWD digital portal.
The MoU reflects a transformative initiative aimed at broadening the Department’s reach and establishing robust connections with human resources (HR) professionals across the nation. The primary goal is to intensify endeavors in creating meaningful employment avenues for Divyangjans, fostering a workplace environment that champions inclusivity and diversity.
The PM-DAKSH-DEPWD digital portal serves as a pioneering platform designed to streamline and enhance the process of connecting job seekers with disabilities to suitable employment opportunities. This digital initiative aligns with the broader vision of creating an empowered and diverse workforce that embraces individuals of all abilities.
