Cyclone Yaas: Indian Railway Cancels 90 Trains

Bhubaneswar: In view of Cyclone Yaas which is likely to cross West Bengal and north Odisha, the railway has cancelled 90 trains originating or terminating from ECoR jurisdiction in HOwrah-Chennai main line. On Friday 74 trains were cancelled originating or terminating from Bhubaneswar and Puri, while on Saturday 16 more trains were cancelled.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday informed that low pressure has formed at Bay of Bengal which is likely to intensify as a cyclonic storm on May 23 and cross the coasts Odisha and West Bengal on May 26.
