CSM Tech taps AI-human synergy, onboards its first AI employee

Bhubaneswar: In an era dominated by concerns over the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on job displacement, CSM Tech has emerged as a pioneer in fostering a harmonious relationship between humans and AI. The company has taken a significant step towards this goal with the onboarding of Medha K, its inaugural non-human employee.

One of the pioneers in integrating human employees with an AI counterpart, CSM Tech has shown that AI would not substitute humans, instead complement and augment them at workplaces.

Medha K, a Knowledge Assistant empowered by ChatGPT, has joined the team to assist CSM’s internal employees. This AI-driven Natural Language Processing (NLP) chatbot possesses the ability to comprehend and generate text based on provided prompts and keywords. As the human-AI trainer, Medha K fine-tunes language models, incorporates human feedback, and employs the most effective learning methods to ensure a seamless experience for everyone involved.

Priyadarshi Nanu Pany, Founder & CEO of CSM Tech, said, “The future belongs to a symbiotic or collaborative intelligence, where humans and AI work in harmony to leverage each other’s strengths. Our Medha K chatbot serves as a testament to the possibilities that can be unlocked through the right blend of human-AI synergy. As generative AI continues to evolve, we are eager to seize opportunities and develop disruptive solutions.”

Medha K possesses the remarkable capacity to fine-tune language models, assimilate human feedback, and employ optimal learning methods to provide a flawless experience. Equipped with extensive knowledge of CSM’s policies and intricacies of the organization, Medha K has been integrated with the ERP employee database. This integration enables the chatbot to identify individuals and access additional business data such as attendance, leave, training, tours, and off-boarding. In the future, Medha K is expected to play a crucial role in functions such as sales and marketing. Furthermore, enhancements such as image and text configuration and video processing are on the horizon, empowering Medha K to provide invaluable assistance across various domains.

Medha K represents a marvel of intelligence, serving as an invaluable asset in any organizational setting. With its exceptional ability to mimic human thought processes, Medha K can analyze data and extract insights that optimize task-specific trends. Unlike human employees, AI never experiences physical fatigue, enabling it to process information and deliver contextually relevant responses as long as it receives data inputs.

This knowledge assistant is ideally suited for navigating iterative and mundane tasks. With its ability to provide accurate responses to even basic queries, Medha K enhances customer experiences (CX). Remarkably, it can respond accurately to customer inquiries using language models without requiring human intervention.

Given the promising future of AI-human symbiosis, CSM Tech has plans to augment Medha K with new features such as Voice over implementation, allowing users to conduct searches without the need for text input. Search functionality will also be enhanced through the incorporation of additional data and high-end training for the chatbot.

Forbes conducted research on 1500 companies, revealing that the most significant performance improvements are achieved when humans and machines work in synergy. AI solutions like Medha K will drive the collaboration between humans and AI, enabling them to complement and enhance each other’s strengths.
