Hyderabad:  In a collaborative effort between the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) and Knowledge Addition and Management through Participation (KAMP), a specialized teacher training program was conducted on February 16, 2024. The program, hosted at CSIR-IICT in Hyderabad, brought together more than 60 educators from various schools, focusing on the theme ‘Enhancing Scientific Temperament through Technological Interventions.’

This marked KAMP’s fourth Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program tailored for educators, organized in partnership with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The initiative aimed to provide participating educators with comprehensive training sessions led by subject matter experts, covering diverse dimensions of science education.

Throughout the day, educators had the unique opportunity to interact with and learn from eminent scientists and researchers, including Dr. Aravind Chinchure (Chair Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Symbiosis International University, Pune), Dr. Somdatta Karak (Science Communications and Outreach Officer, CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology), Dr. Jageedesh.
