CM Patnaik Inaugurates Modern Educational Complex in Malkangiri District

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a modern educational complex in Badapada, located in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district. Utilizing the power of technology, the inauguration ceremony was conducted via video conferencing, underscoring the government’s commitment to accessible education even in remote areas.

The newly inaugurated educational complex is a testament to the state government’s unwavering dedication to providing holistic education to students from primary to higher secondary levels, all under one roof. With an investment of Rs 19 crore, the complex spans across 7 acres of land and has the capacity to accommodate more than 1,000 students. It boasts facilities designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the modern world.

Among the key features of the educational complex are smart classrooms, an e-library stocked with 3000 books, a dedicated tribal corner, activity rooms for children, NCC facilities, a well-equipped computer lab, ICT Smart Learning Center, science laboratories, hostel accommodations, an amphitheater, scenic gardens, sports courts, open gymnasiums, solar lighting, solar water supply, water harvesting systems, and much more.

Addressing the attendees of the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of Malkangiri district. He emphasized that Malkangiri holds a special place in his heart, being the epicenter of various transformative initiatives such as ‘One Rupee Rice’, ‘Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana’, and ‘LAccMI Yojana’. The Chief Minister also highlighted the success of the high school transformation program under the 5T initiative, which has instilled confidence and ambition in the minds of students, particularly those from the SC and ST communities.
