
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved the beautification project for Maa Sarala Temple at Jhankad in Jagatsinghpur district.
A budget of Rs 42 crore has been sanctioned to develop the shrine which will be done under the 5T Initiative of Integrated Development of Heritage, Monuments and Tourist Destination programme. The project is likely to be completed within a year.
As per the plan, the premises will be developed along with the development of the pond. The construction of the heritage wall will be done along with the construction of the east-west north and south gates.
There will be a police control room, cloakroom, prasad distribution system, and drinking water facilities.
