Attending the 50th anniversary programme as the chief guest, the Chief Minister said the funds will be utilised under the PM SHRI scheme to enhance infrastructure and improve academic standards at the institution. He also announced plans to develop Kutariposi Panchayat into a model panchayat.

Describing the milestone as a reflection of five decades of educational contribution, Majhi said institutions like BNK High School play a crucial role in shaping society. He emphasised that education remains the most effective tool for social transformation and urged students to focus on continuous learning and hard work.

Highlighting recent initiatives, the Chief Minister said the state has recruited over 25,000 teachers in the past two years and regularised around 13,000 contractual teachers. He added that recruitment for an additional 45,000 teaching positions is currently underway.

Outlining future plans, Majhi said 800 schools will be developed as Centres of Excellence under the PM SHRI scheme, while 2,200 Godabarish Mishra Adarsh Primary Schools will be established in phases to strengthen foundational infrastructure. He also stressed the importance of initiatives like the NIPUN Odisha Mission to promote foundational literacy and mother tongue-based education.
