Chum Darang from Arunachal Pradesh shares screen with Rajkumar and Bhumi in ‘Badhaai Do’

Itanagar: Arunachal girl Chum Darang shares screen with Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the upcoming quirky comedy ‘Badhaai Do’.

The trailer for Rajkummar and Bhumi starrer comedy film was released on Tuesday which also features Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey and Shashi Bhushan in pivotal roles.

The film explores a marriage of convenience between Rajkummar and Bhumi. Bhumi plays Suman Singh, a 31-year-old physical education teacher, who is interested in women. Rajkumar portrays the character of a cop named Shardul Thakur. Chum plays the role of the partner of Bhumi.

To escape the pressure of their families, Suman and Shardul agrees to marry but decides to stay as roommates. Chaos starts when her girlfriend (Chum Darang) comes to stay with them. Things gets complicated when their families begin pressurize them to have a baby.

The 25-year-old model Chum Darang is from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. She represented Arunachal Pradesh in Miss Earth India, a beauty pageant in New Delhi and won the title of Miss Earth Water. She also won the Miss Tiara India International title.
