The visit, running from December 15 to 18, focuses on enhancing naval cooperation and strengthening maritime security collaboration between the two nations.
Admiral Tripathi is set to hold discussions with prominent Indonesian officials, including Lt Gen Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin (retd), Indonesia’s Defence Minister; General Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces; and Admiral Muhammad Ali, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy. These discussions are expected to address critical areas such as maritime security, joint training initiatives, and strategies to bolster operational collaboration between the navies of India and Indonesia.
