Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Unveils Lingaraj Leprosy Colony in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the recently constructed Lingaraj Kustha Colony at Palashpalli today. The newly built colony comprises 31 houses, aimed at benefiting a total of 94 beneficiaries who are all covered under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana.

As part of the initiative to ensure the well-being of the residents, a dedicated medical team will visit the colony every week, providing essential healthcare services. Additionally, the beneficiaries have been equipped with various amenities, including dressing kits, shoes, tricycles, and more, to enhance their overall convenience and quality of life.
