With determination and skill, Ruud clinched the tiebreak and sealed victory with a 7-6 (6), 6-4 win over Etcheverry. Meanwhile, Tsitsipas faced his own test in the semifinal clash against Dusan Lajovic. After dropping the opening set 7-5 to the unseeded Serbian, Tsitsipas staged a remarkable comeback. The Greek star rallied to claim the second set 6-4, demonstrating his resilience and fighting spirit. With his serve firing on all cylinders and Lajovic showing signs of fatigue, Tsitsipas seized control in the decisive third set, ultimately triumphing with a 6-2 victory.
