
Bhubaneswar: In a decisive move, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has declared its intention to contest all 147 Assembly constituencies and all 21 Lok Sabha constituencies in Odisha. This announcement was made by BJD General Secretary (Organisation) Pranab Prakash Das in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) today.
“BJD will contest in all 147 assembly constituencies and all 21 Lok Sabha constituencies with the support of people of Odisha and win more than three fourth seats under the leadership of Shri Naveen Patnaik,” affirmed Pranab Prakash Das.
Asserting the party’s commitment to building a “New Odisha” and an “Empowered Odisha,” Das reiterated the leadership of Shri Naveen Patnaik in driving this vision forward.
The declaration sets the stage for an intense electoral contest in Odisha, with both major parties gearing up for a keenly watched battle in the upcoming elections.
