BJD Leader Kartik Pandian Foresees Historic Sixth Term for CM Naveen Patnaik, Hits Out at BJP Manifesto

Bhawanipatna: Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Kartik Pandian stirred the political pot in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district, proclaiming Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s imminent ascent to a historic sixth term, slated for June 9. Addressing a spirited election rally, Pandian rallied support for the incumbent CM, asserting that Patnaik’s legacy would be etched in the annals of Odisha’s political history.

Amid fervent chants of support, Pandian delineated the anticipated timing of Patnaik’s oath-taking ceremony, scheduled between 11:30 AM and 1 PM, underscoring the significance of the momentous occasion.

“With your unwavering blessings, our beloved chief minister will script history,” declared Pandian, rallying the fervor of the crowd.

Pandian extolled the enduring legacy of Patnaik’s governance, assuring attendees that flagship welfare schemes such as BSKY, Laxmi Yojana, Madhubabu Pension Yojana, and Kalia Scheme would continue unabated under the BJD regime.

In a scathing rebuke aimed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Pandian lambasted the opposition’s manifesto, decrying its purported plans to dismantle Odisha’s welfare framework.

“The BJP manifesto threatens to dismantle our welfare schemes, pledging to replace BSKY with Ayushman Bharat within 100 days of assuming power,” admonished Pandian. “But let me remind you, Ayushman Bharat caters only to BPL families, while BSKY extends its benefits to all residents of Odisha.”

Pandian reinforced Patnaik’s commitment to inclusive governance, highlighting the disparity between the BJP’s promises and the BJD’s tangible contributions. He lauded Patnaik’s magnanimity in providing greater benefits to the people of Odisha, contrasting the BJP’s pledges with the incumbent government’s proactive initiatives.
