
Bhubaneswar: In a momentous recognition of her outstanding contributions to police training in the state, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shyni S, who currently spearheads the training initiatives at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA), was honoured with the prestigious DGP Disc Award on Sunday. IGP Shyni S has been instrumental in introducing significant changes to the training syllabus, bringing in a fresh perspective and innovative approaches to enhance the skill sets of police personnel. Having assumed her responsibilities at the Biju Patnaik Police Academy in 2019, she has played a crucial role in training around 3,000 officers across various ranks, from constables to Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP).
