
Bhubaneswar: In preparation for the upcoming General and State Assembly elections, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo Naveen Patnaik has constituted the Party’s Manifesto Committee.
A release from the Biju Janata Dal announced the formation of the Manifesto Committee, comprising 38 members, with Chandra Sekhar Sahu appointed as the Chairman. The Committee will also include six Co-chairmen to assist in its operations.
The primary objective of the Manifesto Committee is to engage with various segments of society across different regions and age groups to gather valuable insights. These insights will be utilized to craft a comprehensive manifesto aimed at steering Odisha towards a vision of “New Odisha – Empowered Odisha”.
In a bid to ensure inclusivity and representation, the Committee will actively seek inputs from the people of the state. Citizens are encouraged to share their valuable suggestions and ideas via email at bjdmanifesto2024@gmail.com.
The formation of the Manifesto Committee underscores Biju Janata Dal’s commitment to fostering dialogue and incorporating the aspirations of the people into its electoral agenda.
