
Bhubaneswar: A two-day ‘Global Summit on Growth and Employment’ has kicked off in Bhubaneswar as part of the ‘Nua Odisha’ initiative by the state government. Over 500 influential figures from diverse industries, more than 100 distinguished speakers, policymakers, officials, and experts in the field of skill development are actively participating in this significant event.
Odisha has made significant strides, emerging as a major state in terms of social, economic, and investment factors. The conference serves as a platform for brainstorming ideas and strategies for the future growth and employment opportunities for the youth in Odisha.
The event features a series of more than 10 motivational seminars, providing a comprehensive outlook on the key aspects of growth and employment in the state. Notable figures from various sectors, including Principal Secretary of Skill Development and Vocational Education Department, Usha Padhi, Chairperson of Odisha Skill Development Authority, and CEO of World Skill Center, Alka Mishra, and Director of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Reghu Ji, were present at the inaugural session.
