Bhubaneswar: Prospective homebuyers have got an additional month to apply for flats under the Bhubaneswar Development Authority’s (BDA) Ekamra Residency housing project at Subudhipur, with the authority extending the online application deadline to November 30. The earlier deadline was October 31.
The project, spread over approximately 7.34 acres, offers 496 apartments across two blocks. These include 288 two-bedroom-plus-study flats and 208 two-bedroom flats.
The apartments will be allotted through a lottery system to ensure a transparent selection process. BDA has also announced that the application fee of Rs 10,000 will be adjusted against the final cost of the flat. Applicants who do not secure an allotment will receive a full refund of their Rs 2.1 lakh deposit.
Successful applicants will be eligible for a complete exemption from Goods and Services Tax (GST) and a 5 per cent exemption on stamp duty. The ready-to-move-in apartments will be allotted on a freehold basis and will include one year of complimentary maintenance.
The residential complex will feature earthquake-resistant reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structures and facilities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, sewage treatment plant, water recharge system and round-the-clock CCTV surveillance.
Applicants are required to create a Unique Account Number (UAN) before proceeding with the application. The UAN is mandatory for carrying out transactions through BDA’s Property Allotment System. During registration, applicants must submit valid documents as proof of their date of birth and residential address.
