Ban on Paan and Gutkha Consumption Enforced at Maa Samalei Temple in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a bid to preserve the sanctity and cleanliness of the revered Maa Samalei temple in Sambalpur district, authorities have implemented a strict prohibition on the consumption of paan and gutkha within the temple premises. The ban, set to be enforced from April 14 onwards, marks a significant step towards maintaining the sacredness of the temple environment.

The decision to prohibit the consumption of paan and gutkha within the temple premises was made by the Samaleswari Temple Trust Board. This move comes in response to growing concerns over the littering and hygiene issues caused by the disposal of paan and gutkha residues within the temple complex.
