Asit Kumar Tripathy Steps Down as Chairman of WODC

Bhubaneswar: Asit Kumar Tripathy has stepped down from his role as the chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC). The state government officially confirmed the acceptance of his resignation today.

According to an order issued by the Planning and Convergence (P&C) Department, “The resignation of Asit Kumar Tripathy, chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) under the administrative control of the P&C department, is hereby accepted with effect from August 17.”

Tripathy, who previously served as the Chief Secretary of Odisha, had held the position of WODC chairman since December 2020. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in steering development initiatives across western Odisha.
