
Bhubaneswar: Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, and BJP’s candidate for the Odisha Rajya Sabha elections, officially entered the fray by filing his nomination papers today.
The nomination papers were submitted to the Returning Officer of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, marking a significant step in Vaishnaw’s bid for a Rajya Sabha seat from the state.
With a notable background as the former private secretary to the esteemed late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Ashwini Vaishnaw filed his nomination papers in the presence of key party figures. The BJP’s Odisha Unit President, Manmohan Samal, along with legislators Nauri Nayak, Kusum Tete, and Mohan Charan Majhi, were among those who witnessed the submission.
