Bhubaneswar: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs; Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Arjun Munda, virtually inaugurated the foundation stone laying ceremony of the ‘Centre for Preservation and Promotion of Tribal Culture & Heritage’ at Padampur, Kharsawan district, Jharkhand. Munda stressed the importance of empowering tribal communities for a self-reliant India, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision.

The Union Ministry for Tribal Affairs has allocated a budget of Rs. 10 crores for the establishment of the Centre in Kharsawan district.
