New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & IT, and Jal Shakti, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, is scheduled to visit the boAt manufacturing unit in Noida on National Startup Day. The visit, aimed at celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation, will include a tour of the boAt facility, interactions with employees, and discussions with co-founder Mr. Aman Gupta.
Accompanying the minister will be a group of Young Indians, carefully selected from those who responded to the minister’s invitation on social media. The visit is part of the government’s commitment to encouraging and supporting the startup ecosystem in India.
Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar is expected to share insights into India’s economic and innovation landscape, emphasizing the transformative journey over the past nine years. India has witnessed significant growth in the startup sector, fostering over one lakh startups and nurturing 111 unicorns.
During his address, the minister will underscore the crucial role startups play in realizing the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” set forth by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. India is on the brink of a new wave of innovation, poised to host 10,000 unicorns and foster the growth of over 10 lakh startups in the coming years.
The boAt manufacturing unit, known for its ‘Make-in-India’ ethos, represents a success story in the Indian electronics manufacturing sector. The visit aligns with the government’s commitment to promoting indigenous manufacturing and supporting startups in their journey to contribute significantly to the country’s economic growth.
