Kolkata: Union Minister of Power and Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, embarked on his maiden visit to the headquarters of the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) in Kolkata today. The visit underscored the Minister’s commitment to enhancing energy security and bolstering the economic development through strategic engagements with key stakeholders in the energy sector.
During his visit, Minister Manohar Lal conducted a comprehensive review of the corporation’s performance and engaged in discussions addressing operational challenges and financial issues confronting DVC. Recognizing the pivotal role of DVC in the energy landscape, the Minister emphasized that its growth and progress are crucial for ensuring sustainable energy supply and supporting the country’s economic advancement.
