New Delhi: Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Railways, and Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, actively participated in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC)’s Exam Warrior Art Festival, an event inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s book Exam Warriors. The festival aimed to instill positivity, confidence, and creativity among students, encouraging them to approach exams with a calm and balanced mindset.
The event witnessed the participation of around 4,000 students, including Divyang students, who shared their thoughts and aspirations through art. Teachers played a key role in guiding the young participants throughout the event, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
In a recorded message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered a unique perspective to students, emphasizing the power of action over ambition. He remarked, “Whenever we dream of becoming something, it may result in disappointment sometimes; but if we dream of doing something, we feel motivated to give our best. So, instead of focusing on the aim of becoming something, we must focus on the dream of doing, because when you do that, you’ll never feel the pressure of exams.”
The festival also brought together eminent artists who interacted with the students, sharing their creative processes and encouraging them to view exams as an opportunity rather than a challenge. Renowned artists such as Padma Bhushan awardee Jatin Das and Padma Shri awardee Jai Prakash, among others, actively engaged with the students. Through their artwork and inspiring words, they helped students channel their creativity and reduce exam-related stress.
Ashwini Vaishnaw joined the students in creating a painting alongside these celebrated artists, boosting the morale of the young participants. In his interaction, the minister encouraged students to follow their passions and adopt a consistent study routine to alleviate exam stress.
Key dignitaries, including NDMC Chairperson Sh. Keshav Chandra, Vice Chairperson Kuljeet Chahal, and Member of Parliament Bansuri Swarajya, were also present at the event, which underscored the government’s commitment to holistic education and the well-being of students.
