Raipur: Today, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah delivered an insightful address at the orientation program for newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Chhattisgarh, held in Raipur. The event, attended by dignitaries, including Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu DeoSai, aimed to provide guidance to the elected representatives.
In his address, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the timeless pursuit of knowledge, stating that there is no age limit for learning. Reflecting on the achievements of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s government, Shri Amit Shah highlighted significant legislative changes, including the abolition of Article 370, the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and the end of Triple Talaq. He urged MLAs to study the language and procedure of law to become effective legislators, cautioning against compromising the dignity of the House through inappropriate speeches.
