Fortunately, there are no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage. The last instance of mild tremors in Delhi and NCR occurred on January 11 when a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan, its epicenter located 241 kilometers northeast of Kabul. The seismic activity also reached Pakistan.
Earlier today, a powerful earthquake struck a remote and mountainous region in southwestern China, resulting in 47 individuals being trapped under debris. State broadcaster CCTV reported that over 200 people were promptly evacuated from the affected area. The earthquake has once again highlighted the susceptibility of certain regions to seismic events, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and swift response measures.
