New Delhi: In a demonstration of harmony and respect for Sufi traditions, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met with a delegation from the Muslim community today at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. The occasion witnessed the presence of Union Minister of Women and Child Development (WCD) and Minority Affairs, Smt Smriti Zubin Irani. During the meeting, the Prime Minister presented a sacred Chadar, intended to be placed at the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the esteemed Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
The exchange, symbolizing unity, peace, and reverence for Sufi traditions, underscored the inclusive ethos that forms an integral part of India’s cultural fabric.
