Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that the last phase of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed to eligible beneficiaries on March 7, 2025, with each beneficiary receiving Rs 5,000. The announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida during a media interaction.

Parida reassured that all beneficiaries who have registered for the scheme will receive the financial assistance. “The last phase money of the first installment will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts on March 7, 2025, and the second installment will follow in phases, starting from March 8, 2025,” she confirmed.

The Deputy Chief Minister advised the beneficiaries to remain patient and avoid rushing to the bank on the distribution day. She stressed the importance of ensuring that the Aadhar card and ration card details match. In case of discrepancies, beneficiaries were advised to visit the bank for linking their Aadhar details to their ration card. “Do not rush to the bank. If there is a mismatch in the Aadhar and ration card details, visit the bank to link them. All eligible beneficiaries will receive the money,” she assured.

Parida highlighted the widespread success of the scheme, with over 1.4 crore beneficiaries already registered. To date, 80.46 lakh beneficiaries have received the financial assistance. The process of physical verification for the remaining beneficiaries is ongoing.

Additionally, the Deputy Chief Minister confirmed that beneficiaries who turn 21 years old by March 2025 will also be eligible to receive the benefits under the scheme.
