Bhubaneswar: In a significant step towards bolstering the education sector, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated 327 schools on Saturday that have undergone transformative changes across six districts. As part of the 5T Initiative by the Odisha government, these schools in Malkangiri, Balasore, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Cuttack have undergone comprehensive upgrades to provide a modern and conducive learning environment.
This phase of the transformation program will cover a total of 1,794 schools across the state, with 6,883 schools undergoing developmental changes in the earlier three phases.
Addressing the gathering on the second day of the fourth phase of school transformation, the chief minister emphasized the government’s commitment to building a robust Odisha through the transformation of schools, colleges, tourist places, temples, mutts, and hospitals.
Naveen Patnaik stressed the crucial role of schools in shaping the future of any society and highlighted the government’s dedication to school transformation. He highlighted that the upgraded schools are now equipped with smart classrooms, computers, and state-of-the-art laboratories, providing an ideal learning environment for students.
Encouraging students to embrace the principles of 5T (Teamwork, Transparency, Technology, Time, and Transformation) in their lives, the Chief Minister announced a 15% reservation for them in medical and engineering institutions, ensuring a bright future for the youth.
