Odisha Boosts Subhadra Yojana Application Process Amid Rising Interest

Bhubaneswar: As enthusiasm for the Subhadra Yojana continues to grow across Odisha, the state government is taking steps to simplify the registration process. Long queues have been seen at Jan Seva Kendras, where women are eager to apply for the scheme. In response, Odisha Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja and Development Commissioner Anu Garg convened a key meeting on Sunday at the Odisha Computer Application Center (OCAC) to address challenges and enhance the application process.

During the meeting, which included senior officials like OCAC Chairman and IT Chief Secretary Vishal Kumar Dev, Information and Public Relations Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, Women and Child Development Principal Secretary Shubha Sharma, and Science and Technology Principal Secretary Chithra Arumugam, discussions focused on making the application process more user-friendly. The Chief Secretary stressed the importance of streamlining the system so that applicants could complete their registrations with ease.

Immediate technical measures are being taken to ensure that the application process is accessible and efficient. Anganwadi workers, who play a key role in distributing forms and assisting women in applying, were recognized for their significant contributions in helping applicants navigate the system.

Later in the day, a virtual meeting was held with District Magistrates to further simplify the Subhadra Yojana application process. Officials were briefed on new steps to ensure smooth implementation of the scheme across districts.
