Koraput: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and star campaigner Naveen Patnaik commenced his whirlwind election campaign today in Koraput district, setting the stage for a spirited electoral battle. Addressing a massive gathering at the OMP Ground in Koraput, Naveen Patnaik expressed gratitude to the thousands of enthusiastic supporters who braved the scorching heat to attend the event.
In his impassioned speech, Naveen Patnaik underscored the transformative impact of various welfare schemes initiated by the government, including Kalia, Mamata Scheme, Nua O Scholaship, Mission Shakti, Mo Bus, and the Heritage Project. Emphasizing the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, he urged voters to repose their trust in the BJD and its candidates.
Taking aim at the opposition, Naveen Patnaik accused them of shedding crocodile tears and lacking genuine concern for the welfare of the people. He called upon voters to see through their hollow promises and instead support the BJD candidates who are dedicated to the progress and prosperity of Odisha.
Accompanied by senior party leader Kartik Pandian, Naveen Patnaik rallied support for the BJD’s candidates in the region, urging voters to cast their ballots in favor of Koraput MP candidate Kausalya Hikaka and MLA candidates Prafulla Pangi, Jagannath Saraka, Anusuya Majhi, Prabhu Jani, Dr. Indira Nanda, Raghram Padal, and Raghunath Gomango.
