Pune: Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC), conducted a visit to the Military Intelligence Training School and Depot (MINTSD) in Pune.
During his visit, Lt Gen PK Chahal, Commandant of MINTSD, provided a comprehensive briefing to the Army Cdr on the various training activities conducted at the prestigious institution. The focus was on highlighting best practices and innovative training methodologies aligned with evolving training requirements. Lt Gen Manjinder Singh toured different faculties and explored the state-of-the-art training labs at the premier training establishment.
The Army Commander underscored the importance of a target-oriented training approach, emphasizing the need for synergized and integrated training in the current multi-domain environment. He stressed the significance of building core competencies in imagery interpretation and the acquisition of operational intelligence for future wars. Lt Gen Manjinder Singh urged leveraging technological advancements to enhance training effectiveness. Additionally, he emphasized the crucial role of curating intelligence and generating actionable insights for the Field Army.
