Bhubaneswar: Loyola International School emerged victorious at the third edition of CSM Synapse, Odisha’s premier inter-school quiz contest. The winning team, comprising Purbasha Falguni and Pratyaksh Rastogi, outshone five other zonal champions in a highly competitive Grand Finale to secure the grand prize of Rs 50,000.
The 2024 edition of CSM Synapse delivered an exciting blend of challenging questions, engaging games, and unexpected surprises. The finale showcased exceptional quizzing skills and in-depth knowledge from all participating teams. DAV Unit VIII, Bhubaneswar, finished as the runner-up with their team of Pratyush Dhal and Ayan Senapati, who were awarded Rs 25,000 for their commendable performance.
Other finalists included Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (Berhampur), Indo English School (Rourkela), Delhi Public School (Paradip Refinery), and Deepika English Medium School (Rourkela), each recognized as zonal winners for their stellar performances in their respective regions.
The event was graced by Lagna Panda, CHRO, and Pradyut Mohan Dash, CTO of CSM Tech, who honored the winners and participants, commending their outstanding performances. Manoj Kumar Patra, CFO of CSM Tech, also welcomed and praised the contestants for their remarkable achievements.
This year’s competition introduced an innovative two-tier format, consisting of three Zonal Quizzes held in July, leading up to the Grand State Finale. This new structure expanded the competition’s reach and added a layer of intensity, with the top two teams from each zonal round advancing to the finale.
CSM Synapse, organized annually in collaboration with Quizcraft Global, was supported by Adityanath Mubayi, India’s renowned quizmaster and head of research for the popular TV series ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. This partnership ensured a world-class quizzing experience and top-notch content for all participants.
