Bhubaneswar: The highly anticipated Kalinga Art Festival is set to enchant art enthusiasts from February 9 to February 11 in Bhubaneswar, with the Ila Panda Centre for Arts (IPCA) serving as the presenting partner for the eighth edition. Themed ‘Legends of Ancient Bharat and Beyond: Inspiring Lived Experience in the 21st Century,’ the festival will feature a rich tapestry of creativity, bringing together 60 exhibitors, renowned artists, and six engaging discussion sessions.
Curated by Ranjan Mallik, this edition promises a captivating showcase of artistic brilliance, with contributions from accomplished artists, curators, and speakers.
The extensive lineup includes Vijay M Dhore, Lalatendu Rath, Paramita Mahapatra, Prof. Ranjan Kumar Mallik, and many more esteemed names in the art world.
The exhibition is a testament to Odisha’s vibrant creative legacy, presenting an array of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and various other expressions of artistic ingenuity.
Founder of the Kalinga Art Festival, Rashmi Ranjan Parida, expressed, “For the past eight years, the fair has been a celebration of the very best of Kalingan creativity, and in 2024 we are taking this even further. Complementing the gallery displays, we are also hosting talks and workshops, showcasing the diversity and power of artistic talent from across India.”
