New Delhi: In a significant stride towards fostering innovation and technological advancements, the “Digital India FutureLABS Summit 2024” at IIIT-Delhi witnessed the transfer of three cutting-edge indigenous technologies – Thermal Camera, CMOS Camera, and Fleet Management System. Developed by CDAC Thiruvananthapuram under the InTranSE Program of MeitY, these technologies were transferred to 12 industries during the launch event, aligning with the Innovation, Science, and Technology theme of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Vikshit Bharat @2047” initiative.
Thermal Camera:
The Thermal Smart Camera boasts an inbuilt DPU to execute various AI-based analytics, making it versatile for applications across diverse domains such as Smart cities, Industries, Defence, and Healthcare. The technology underwent field implementation, testing, and validation for Road traffic applications. The following eight industries received the technology: RRPS4E Innovation Pvt Ltd, SCITA Solutions, TAK Technologies Pvt Ltd, AABMATICA Technologies, Prama India Pvt Ltd, Samriddhi Automations Pvt Ltd, Norden Research and Innovation Centre, Vehant Technologies Pvt Ltd
CMOS Camera:
The Industrial Vision Sensor iVIS 10GigE, a CMOS-based vision processing system, equipped with a potent on-board computing engine for next-gen industrial machine vision applications. The technology found a home at M/s Spookfish Innovations Pvt Ltd.
Fleet Management System:
FlexiFleet, a system designed to optimize operations and enhance fleet operators’ efficiency, covers aspects like vehicle location tracking and alerts for conditions such as over speed, geofencing, ignition, idle, halt, and rash driving. Personalized Transit Route Guidance System, a mobile app enhancing passenger experience, and Operational Strategies for Headway Reliability, a dynamic scheduling decision support tool for transit operators, were also part of the technology transfer. Three industries received this comprehensive Fleet Management System: Atulya Abhinav Tech Private Limited, Unidad Techno Labs(P) Ltd, IBI Group India Private Limited
The exchange of technology transfer documents took place in the presence of Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Jal Shakti, along with other dignitaries, highlighting the collaborative efforts between government and industry for technological advancement.
