New Delhi: Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, inaugurated the curtain raiser event for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, lauding it as a milestone for India’s mobility sector. Set to be the world’s second-largest mobility show, this expo will take place from January 17-22, 2025, across three key venues in Delhi and Greater Noida, covering over 200,000 square meters. The event is expected to host more than 500,000 visitors, showcasing India’s advancements in automotive technology and sustainable mobility.
Goyal underscored the expo’s theme, ‘Beyond Boundaries: Co-Creating the Future of the Automotive Value Chain,’ as a reflection of India’s vision for a globally integrated, technology-driven mobility ecosystem. Emphasizing the need for faster electric vehicle (EV) adoption, he reiterated the government’s support for making India a leader in mobility technology. “Scaling EV production will drive cost-effectiveness, enhancing India’s position in the global market,” Goyal remarked.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will bring together a vast range of exhibits and demonstrations across sectors, including electric vehicles, autonomous tech, battery storage solutions, urban infrastructure, and more. Key showcases will include the Auto Expo Motor Show, featuring hybrid and electric vehicles; the Mobility Tech Pavilion for connected and autonomous solutions; an Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show focused on sustainable public transport; and specialized expos for construction equipment, tires, batteries, and cycles.
The event will feature 15+ international conferences, drawing expertise from global leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the mobility industry.
Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, also attended the curtain raiser, supporting Shri Goyal’s call to attract international participants to expand their presence in India’s evolving market. “Bharat Mobility Expo is a showcase of India’s compelling investment potential—leveraging vision, skill, and ambition,” Goyal added, inviting stakeholders to harness India’s growth story.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is a joint initiative, led by the Engineering Export Promotion Council India (EEPC India) in collaboration with SIAM, ACMA, IESA, NASSCOM, CII, and other industry bodies, along with backing from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and supporting ministries.
Officials from key government ministries, industry associations, automotive leaders, and international representatives attended the event, emphasizing the expo’s global significance.
