Bhubaneswar: Continuing the commitment to swift governance and addressing public grievances, Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian, engaged with the residents of Sambalpur and Deogarh districts through a virtual interaction as directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
During the interaction, Kartik Pandian introduced the concept of “One Day Governance,” emphasizing the prompt resolution of public issues. The Chief Minister, responding to the grievances presented during the session, sanctioned 310 projects worth Rs. 10.27 Crores in Sambalpur district and 292 projects worth Rs. 8.18 Crores in Deogarh district on the same day. The sanction orders were promptly sent to the petitioners via mobile phones.
Highlighting the progress made since his visit in July last year, Pandian mentioned that projects worth Rs. 630 Crores have been initiated in both Sambalpur and Deogarh districts based on petitions and feedback received during previous interactions.
Pandian shared significant decisions made by the Chief Minister, including a Rs. 500 increase in social security pensions for all categories, benefiting approximately 58 Lakhs beneficiaries. Additionally, financial assistance under the MAMATA Yojana has been augmented from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10,000, aiming to enhance nutrition and healthcare outcomes for women and infants.
In a positive development, Mission Shakti groups are now eligible for interest-free loans up to Rs. 10 Lakhs, offering significant support for their initiatives and projects. The virtual interaction highlighted the commitment of the Odisha government to responsive governance and the well-being of its citizens.
