Wellington: The Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, India, and the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in military education, particularly in the fields of Strategic and Operational Studies.
This significant agreement was inked during the official state visit of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to India. The MoU aims to foster closer ties between the two prestigious institutions, which both provide training to tri-service officers, preparing them for higher staff and command responsibilities.
The colleges share a common ethos, training curriculum, and methodology, and face similar challenges in their respective military education systems. The MoU will enable both institutions to further enhance bilateral engagements, focusing on professional development and strategic insights.
