Bhubaneswar: The third day of the Odisha Travel Bazaar unfolded with 55 Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) engaging in structured meetings with over 50 sellers from Odisha. This vibrant day focused on fostering insightful discussions, creating networking opportunities, and presenting the diverse tourism potential of Odisha to entice potential travelers.
Representatives from 16 different countries, including Belgium, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam, actively participated in the program. The interactions aimed at building collaborative partnerships to promote Odisha as a preferred travel destination on the global stage.
Following the structured meetings, the Odisha Travel Bazaar has organized Familiarization (FAM) trips for the Foreign Tour Operators. These excursions offer the FTOs firsthand experiences of Odisha’s natural beauty, rich biodiversity, and unique tourism offerings. The carefully curated FAM trips will take the operators to key destinations such as Raghurajpur, Pipili, Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Eco Retreat Satkosia, and Bhitarkanika.
These immersive experiences are designed to deepen the understanding of the FTOs about Odisha’s tourism potential, enabling them to showcase the state’s unique offerings to a broader audience. The Odisha Travel Bazaar continues to play a pivotal role in bridging global and local entities, fostering collaborations, and positioning Odisha as a distinctive and sought-after travel destination.
