Mumbai: The 27th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG) is set to convene on September 3-4, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This prestigious event is being jointly organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Government of Maharashtra.
Themed “Viksit Bharat: Secure and Sustainable e-Service Delivery,” the two-day conference will feature six plenary sessions and six breakout sessions. These sessions will bring together key stakeholders and leaders from government, academia, award-winning innovators, and the industry to discuss and promote cutting-edge e-governance practices.
During the inaugural session, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, as well as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of several other portfolios, will confer awards to outstanding contributors in the field of e-governance. This will be followed by two days of in-depth discussions and deliberations on enhancing e-governance across India.
The conference will conclude with a valedictory session, where Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will deliver keynote addresses, emphasizing the importance of secure and sustainable digital service delivery in achieving the vision of a developed India.
