AIIMS Bhubaneswar Opens Dedicated Liver Transplantation Clinic

Bhubaneswar: In a major boost to specialized healthcare, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has launched a dedicated Liver Transplantation Clinic, marking a crucial step in providing advanced liver care and transplant support for patients.

The clinic was inaugurated by Institute President Dr. Shailesh Kumar and Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, along with other senior officials. Speaking at the event, Dr. Biswas emphasized the growing need for specialized liver care in Odisha and the institute’s commitment to enhancing medical facilities for patients with critical liver conditions.

The Liver Transplantation Clinic will be operational every Tuesday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Room No. 222 in the Gastro OPD, providing comprehensive evaluation, pre-operative preparation, and listing for liver transplant candidates. The facility aims to ensure timely medical intervention and streamline the transplant process for those in need.
