After Black and White Fungus, Now Cases of Yellow Fungus Reported In India

New Delhi: After black fungus and white fungus, cases of another fungus have been emerging in the country. The first case of Yellow fungus have been reported in a patient in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Experts believe that Yellow fungus could be scarier than black and white fungus. Lethargy, low appetite or no appetite at all and weight loss are some of the symptoms of the fungal infection.

Yellow fungus could be fatal as it starts internally. It causes pus leakage, slow healing of wounds, malnutrition, could even cause organ failure and acute necrosis. 

According to experts, bad hygiene, contaminated food and overuse of steroids are some of the reasons which could cause the yellow fungus infection.
