Johnny Depp won the defamation case against Amber Heard on Wednesday and she has been ordered to pay the actor $15million in damages.
During the verdict, the jury found that the actor Amber Heard defamed her former husband Johnny Depp. And thus ordered her to pay compensatory damages of $10 million and punitive damages of $5 million.
However, the jury also found Johnny guilty on some counts of defamation in Amber’s countersuit against him. The court ordered Johnny to compensate $2million to Amber.
